Mark your calendars for the 15th Annual Chicago Food Policy Summit on February 21, 2020. Connect with food workers, farmers, vendors, and local leaders to discuss food policy and other critical issues involving climate change, labor, food access, urban farming and the economics of food production in Chicago, Cook County and Illinois. This year we will be celebrating 15 years of policy advocacy and local food initiatives.

This event is a culmination of the past year of food justice efforts and accomplishments and an opportunity for us to collectively imagine how we can transform the food system to support health and equity for all. The day will consist of workshops, speakers, a marketplace of resources and vendors, and a Food Business Clinic. More information will be announced soon!

Are you interested in getting involved or facilitating a session at this year’s Summit? Please contact summit@chicagofoodpolicy.com with a working description of your proposed workshop or session idea by December 2nd. We have a limited number of open workshop slots but welcome all ideas for consideration by the summit planning committee!
