Join us for our Indivisible chapter's monthly meetings and find out how you can take action to resist the Trump agenda in 2019, as well as how we can and help support progressive legislation and candidates for office in 2020.

Our next meeting is October 22 from 7 - 9pm at the Lorraine Morton Civic Center in Evanston. Join Indivisible Evanston to hear two powerful speakers:

***Jill Wine-Banks, MSNBC Contributor/Legal Analyst & Former Watergate Prosecutor: "An Insider's View on the Political Environment"

***Willie Shaw, Political Action/Civic Engagement Chair, NAACP Evanston/North Shore Branch (President Dr. Michael C. R. Nabors): "Voting is Emotional"

Our September 24 meeting was included why flipping our neighboring WI is the path to removing Trump from the White House Felesia Martin, 1st Vice Chair, WI Dems will speak to the WI Dems strategy to flip WI and how YOU can help with Indivisible Evanston's "Reach Up Wisconsin" program of canvassing, voter registration, phone banking, postcards etc - we need YOUR help. Marie Newman, Congressional candidate for IL - 3, will talk about how she will make the House Blue(r) in 2020.

Our last meeting was August 5th, with a standing room only crowd for Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky! We introduced some exciting new initiatives as we gear up for the 2020 election, focusing on Growing Young Voters. You'll hear about our college student "Vote Where it Counts" program, Organizing Corps 2020 and the Mikva Challenge. We also shared exciting news and opportunities for voter outreach in Wisconsin, with our "Reach Up" canvassing programs in Racine/Kenosha, voter registration in Milwaukee, as well as letter writing and phone banking to WI voters.

Our April, May and June meetings featured more in depth looks into the issues related to our Working Groups, and included actions we could take to address these issues head on right now, even with the challenges in place by the GOP administration. First up was Climate Change (April 2), then Health Care (May 7) and finally Election Integrity wrapped up this series (June 18) with speakers from Common Cause IL. Most meetings were recorded on Facebook live and can be watched again!
