Who’s watching your community? More than 26 organized community watch programs are operating in Chicago, from West Ridge’s “yellow jackets” program, to block clubs, to “positive loitering” -- and more.

But most don’t know these racist “safety”programs are funded and organized by the Chicago Police Department’s Office of Community Policing, which has a $5.3 million annual budget.

Join Black and Pink Chicago and CLAW for an exploration of Chicago’s community watches, how they’re funded, and what residents can do to challenge them!
